Leave the mortal world behind and enter the fae realms this Autumn: a candlelit night of music, court intrigue, and immersive storytelling.
Each Emissary Ticket grants passage into the Realms, including one court-themed drink on arrival, light fae bites, and an evening of dancing, revelry, and unfolding story.
What will the night look like?
Expect gentle quests and in-character moments designed to spark connection, uncover hidden threads, and create the kind of belonging that feels strangely… familiar — all woven through a candlelit evening of music, dancing, and fae magic.
Do I have to roleplay and follow the story?
Not at all.
There are two ways to experience the Ball:
As an immersive guest — step into the Realms as an Emissary of one of the five Courts, receive your Court assignment, and follow the unfolding story as lightly or as deeply as you wish, with lore, missives, and optional quests woven through both the days before the Ball and the night itself.
As a non-immersive guest — simply attend as a guest of the Courts and enjoy the atmosphere, music, dancing, and beauty of the evening, with no roleplay required.
Both paths are equally welcome.
Can I come alone?
Come alone or with a companion — there will be a place for you here among the Courts, and the evening is designed so that no one remains a stranger for long.
How does it work?
Once you purchase a ticket, you’ll be invited to complete our Court Questionnaire and be welcomed into one of the five Courts (you may, of course, indicate a preference).
From that moment, the story begins: missives, court news, and whispers from the Realms will begin to find you. There may also be opportunities to complete small quests or earn favour in the Realms before the Ball itself.
If you feel a pull, perhaps these halls remember you.

Your First Letter
from the Realms
Dearest Emissaries,
The time has come. Your presence is hereby requested by the High Regents of the Starborn Realms.
As you are no doubt aware, the fae of the Realms were born when the heavens split, and a single celestial flame – The Starfallen – plummeted to the earth. From its fractured light rose five ever powerful fae Courts, each born of a shard of its brilliance, and bound to a different truth.
In the ages that followed, the Courts turned upon one another, waging wars to claim – or to protect – the fragments of The Starfallen. Their magic tore rifts between the realms and left the mortal lands scorched by power never meant to be wielded.
In the ruins, the High Regents forged a fragile accord – the Starfallen Pact – swearing to seal each Court’s fragment of The Starfallen into a Veil to part the fae and mortal realms, protecting the mortal world and wielding their power in balance, not dominion.
Thus was the boundary between fae and mortal born.
Now, once each century, when the Veil descends closest to the mortal world, emissaries from every Court gather to renew that sacred vow – a promise written in light, tempered by shadow, and often broken by desire.
To which Court do the stars bind you?
Will you keep your vow… or will desire – for power, for glory, or for passion – pull you beyond the bounds of fate?
This Autumn, 2026, the Veil will once again descend upon Melbourne, summoning mortals and fae alike to a night of enchantment, ancient oaths, and glittering intrigue.
There will be music, fae bites, and whispers of quests from your High Regents themselves.
But keep your wits, dear Emissary – for behind every smile lies a secret, and the night is long.
